The boutique style hotel offers 42 guest rooms and 3 suites that are furnished with the essentials in rustic yet contemporary themes, using rich woods and traditional northern Thailand fabrics and colors. There are modern and fully equipped bathrooms and rooms are set around a series of attractive courtyards. The central courtyard contains the impressive old Tamarind tree from which the hotel takes its name.

Guest rooms range in size from 20 to 35 square meters, while the suites are between 51 and 60 sqm, the Spa Suite offering the most space and a range of additional luxurious treats – complimentary foot bath on arrival, complimentary first stock of mini-bar, and a daily 60 minute spa treatment for two.

Though not a huge hotel, the Tamarind Village Hotel Chiang Mai still offers everything you would expect from a modern 4 star hotel. The outdoor swimming pool is set within one of the hotel’s courtyards and features both sun and shade, provided by tropical plants and parasols. There are sun loungers provided, so you can sit back and relax, then cool off in the spacious pool! The Ruen Tamarind Restaurant serves guests both international and Thai cuisines, including authentic northern Thailand dishes. Enjoy indoor dining or sit out on the swimming pool terrace. The restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner, as well as selection of refreshing drinks and cocktails throughout the day on the pool terrace.

After a day exploring the sites of Chiang Mai, the Village Spa offers relaxation in its six treatment rooms.
