Location:The Yaiya Resort and Spa is situated in Cha Am, a small beach resort town about 20 kilometers (12.5 miles) north of the larger resort of Hua Hin, and 2 hours south of Bangkok, on the Gulf of Thailand.Accommodation:There are a number of possibilities available when staying at the Yaiya Resort, and you will find attention to detail and exceptional quality in all accommodation types. There are eleven one, two or three bedroom villas with private pools in addition to 23 deluxe rooms and six suites. All rooms feature amenities you would expect in a resort of this class – high speed wireless internet, LCD TV with DVD player and satellite, tea and coffee making facilities, refrigerator, in-room safe, relaxing rain shower and separate bathtub, plus luxurious bed covers. Facilities & Services:Being a luxury resort, guests may expect to find more in the way of facilities and services at the Yaiya Resort. However, Yaiya is a boutique resort which favors quality over quantity and guests can be assured of a relaxing stay where attentive staff are on hand to assist. In addition to the villas with private pools there are two other swimming pools here, including a children’s pool. The poolside bar, lounge bar and Thaipas Thai Restaurant can meet your drinking and dining needs, whilst the Yaiya Gourmet Shop sells a range of useful goods. The Yaiya Spa, run by AKA Spa Chiang Mai, offers guests a range of pampering services, whilst those looking for more activities can join in Yoga classes, Tai Chi instruction, kite surfing, meditation, Thai cooking classes or Thai boxing.Nearby Attractions:With its beach side location, the Yaiya Resort is the perfect place for a relaxing vacation where lounging around the pool or building sand castles on the beach is the order of the day! However, Cha Am is close by and its numerous temples make for an interesting afternoon’s sightseeing. The Buddhist temple of Wat Neran Chararam is one such example, and features a large statue of the six-armed Phra Pit-thawan. Couples, especially those on their honeymoon, will certainly be attracted to stay at Yaiya Resort, though accommodation is also family-friendly with offers for children under the age of 12. The larger poolside villas will also attract larger families and groups of friends, and whilst the Yaiya Resort is not huge, there is plenty here for a relaxed vacation. The Cha Am area is generally known for being quieter and less touristy than nearby Hua Hin, and it’s benefits like this, as well as the array of different accommodation on offer here, which will appeal the most – deluxe rooms and suites; 1, 2 and 3 bedroom villas with their own private pools; and a 3 bedroom seafront villa with private pool.
