Alila Hotel is the kind of place which will appeal more to couples than those with children, and indeed the central Chill Pool is an adults-only area. Families should not think they are excluded here though because Alila Hotel also offers the Active Pool where children are permitted. There are two restaurants and a funky bar called The Red, in addition to a number of other guest facilities and services. Location:Alila Hotel Cha Am is situated on the Petchaburi beach side in Cha Am, 26 kilometers north of Hua Hin, and 163 kilometers south of Bangkok. By road the journey from Bangkok is approximately 2 hoursAccommodation:The Alila Hotel offers both hotel style accommodation and private pool villas, though both styles are luxurious and spacious. The total of 72 rooms are either referred to as Deluxe Rooms or Deluxe Terrace Rooms and the latter feature a private landscaped terrace, though the Deluxe Rooms also have their own private outdoor space too. The private Pool Villas, of which there are seven, offer guests their own landscaped garden, large terrace and a private pool. Inside there is a master bedroom in addition to lounge and dining areas and an extra room which can be used as a second bedroom. The bathroom features a luxurious bathtub and a rain shower. Every room and villa has a state of the art entertainment system with a large flat screen TV and Apple TV where you can select movies, music and mood lighting, and dock your iPod. There is also wireless internet throughout the hotel and villas too.
Facilities & Services:Alila Hotel’s Chill Pool is the ultimate adults-only swimming pool. Decks on every side offer sun loungers and parasols whilst you can enjoy afternoon tea at The Red by day, and cocktails by night. There are two restaurants at the Alila Hotel – Clouds Loft is on the rooftop and has some wonderful views over the hotel’s reflecting pool and Motion is a poolside restaurant offering al fresco dining. The Active Pool is popular with family guests and has direct access to the beach. Other services include the Spa Alila with its range of treatments and relaxing thermal pool. There is a library with books and magazines as well as business center facilities. Business visitors can also make use of the Event Center, and both leisure and business guests will find the Leisure Concierge services useful. Nearby Attractions:If the beach and the pools aren’t enough to keep you occupied at Alila Hotel, there are plenty of attractions nearby too. Cha Am has a number of interesting temples to visit, plus, a little south of Cha Am is the Summer Palace of King Rama VI.
