There are not many resorts in Cha Am which can claim to offer every single guest an ocean sunrise view, but Aleenta Resort and Spa Cha Am is one of them!

This boutique resort will appeal to guests who are seeking a retreat for their vacation, and who don’t want to stay in a large resort surrounded by other guests. Aleenta Resort is small and intimate with somewhat quirky accommodation – rustic and traditional in style, yet it comes with all the modern-day luxuries you would expect from a resort of this class. The grass-effect roofs and whitewashed walls are more in line with what many visitors expect to see when coming to a Thai beach resort.

With its quieter atmosphere, Aleenta Resort and Spa is bound to appeal to couples looking for a romantic getaway. This isn’t an adults-only resort, but Aleenta has gone one step better as the resort is divided in two sections. There is a child-friendly section (called the Frangipani Wing) and a larger adults-only section. Such a great idea and hence the Aleenta Resort and Spa is going to appeal to couples, groups and families.

The accommodation comes in a range of styles and sizes and all are kitted out with some great features, such as iPod and docking station, large luxury fluffy towels which always seem to be lacking elsewhere, plus bathrobes and slippers!

Location:

Aleenta Resort and Spa is situated in Cha Am and within easy reach of the larger town of Hua Hin. Bangkok is a couple of hours north by road.

Accommodation:

In the child-friendly Frangipani Wing of the Aleenta Resort are five rooms with private balconies and direct access to the resort’s infinity swimming pool. The Palm Pool Suites take luxury levels a little further with their great ocean views and private plunge pools, whereas the Ocean View Suites are just steps away from the ocean. Both the Ocean View and Palm Pool Suites include a complimentary breakfast. For the height of luxury, enjoy a stay in the private beach house. This is a two storey bungalow which can be reserved as a whole for up to 4 guests, or you can choose the upper or lower floor alone. The lower floor features a plunge pool and private verandah, whereas the upper floor features a private sun deck plus front and rear balconies.

In-room amenities in every type of accommodation feature an iPod with a large range of music for you to choose from, as well as an iPod dock if you prefer to listen to your own music collection. There’s also a fully stocked mini bar, complimentary wireless internet, in-room safe, hairdryer, 24 hour room service, high quality Egyptian cotton sheets, and let’s not forget those big fluffy towels, bathrobes and slippers!
