Sathorn Road is to finance and business, what Siam is to shopping. It is the fastest-growing business district in Bangkok. Sathorn Road is actually two roads, South Sathorn, and North Sathorn, that run parallel from North-East to South-West. It runs from the MRT Lumpini subway station at the corner of Lumpini Park on Rama IV Road and heads down towards the Chao Phraya River.
