Suan Lum Night bazaar has closed down.
After years of rumors and attempts to keep it open, big developers were finally able to close down the markets and evict all store owners, making way for projects that are likely to make more money for the land owners.
The night markets in Patpong are still open, though the area is a little rougher and being surrounded by go-go bars, perhaps not as family friendly as Suan Lum was.
